Purpose:
This is a special initiative funded by the Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Knights Hospitaller and administered by the BC Hospice Palliative Care Association.
Eligibility:
The Awards are intended to enhance care to patients and families receiving end-of-life care and bereavement support. The grants are not intended to cover administrative or infrastructure costs.
Program members of BCHPCA who are in good standing may apply for this Award.
Two Grants are available, valued at $5,000.00 each.
To apply for these Awards, please submit a 2-3 page letter of intent outlining the following:
- the objectives and activities of the planned initiative;
- a project budget;
- the proposed target audience;
- a description of how the target audience will benefit from the proposed initiative;
- an outline of how the proposed project’s success will be evaluated.
- timeline for the project, which must be completed within the fiscal year

The nomination must be received by BCHPCA no later than Tuesday, April 10th, 2012.
