Message From The President

Reconnecting and Sharing Wisdom

Welcome to BC Hospice Palliative Care Association’s annual conference, Reconnecting and Sharing Wisdom in this our 26th year of service to the hospice palliative care community in BC.

We hope that this conference will be an opportunity for you to reconnect with friends and colleagues from all over the province or to make connections with folks who are new to the organization. As well, we have many events and workshops planned in which much wisdom will be shared.

A fun piece this year is our request to you to BYOB – bring your own (conference) bag. It doesn’t have to be a BCHPCA bag; it can be from any conference you have attended or even a grocery store cloth bag. Everyone who brings their own bag will be entered into the door prize draw for some fabulous prizes.

We invite you to check out the Healing Space, Silent Auction, Sponsor/Exhibitor Area, and Odin Book Store. Hotel Patrons can have free access to a Steve Nash Fitness Centre just 2 blocks down the street as well as free parking and internet access in their room. And this year’s program promises to be informative and inspirational as you will see when you click here.

See you at the Executive Airport Hotel May 25 and 26, 2012. I look forward to meeting you there.

Warm regards,

Wendy Wainwright, President
