The purpose of the Grief and Bereavement Funding Strategy Working Group is to support the development of a coordinated, sector-informed pathway for recognizing, integrating, and sustainably investing in grief and bereavement care within British Columbia’s health and community care systems by hospice societies.
The Working Group was established to generate shared understanding, test strategic framing, and build alignment across hospice societies and community partners, with the aim of strengthening the role of hospice-led grief and bereavement services as essential, upstream components of a public health and mental health continuum.
